Fort Standard is a young contemporary design studio located in Red Hook Brooklyn. The two founding designers Gregory Buntain and Ian Collings fuse craft with a progressive design approach to create original designs in furniture, housewares and jewelry. Their work pays homage to influences ranging from boy scout merit badges to the earth’s natural geometry. Pairing industrial, simple materials and modern day prowess, the designers have created a unique warm, contemporary aesthetic rooted in simplicity and functionality.
