Juniper Ridge started at the Farmers Market in Berkeley in 1998 with all the products coming from the mountains and deserts of the West. At Juniper Ridge, they never, ever kill the plants they harvest from to make their products.They only harvest common species in the heart of their range, and they stick to trees and shrubs so that they are never killing a small plant.
