HOPE begun as a creative discussion between two friends, Swedish designers Ann Ringstrand and Stefan Söderberg, who were passionate and extremely interested in well-made utility wear. Realizing a lack in modern and useful Outerwear and Trousers for women, the pair launched HOPE in Autumn 2002. The concept was built around updated, masculine style using unexpected fabrics and redesigned vintage garments. The result is a collection of easy, tailored looks with utility for everyday wear. In 2005, a collection for men was added to the concept along with a complete range of shoes and accessories.

Beatrice is an iconic round style suited to oval and square faces. The frame is composed of Tokyo Tortoise cellulose acetate from northern Italy and features five barrel, rose gold plated hinges. The lenses are a custom-dyed pink fade, providing protection on the brightest days. Each pair includes custom lenses designed to enhance visual contrast and reduce glare.
