When the idea hit for a suiting collab, Hart Schaffner & Marx was the only company that came to mind. Steven has many HSM and Hickey Freeman suits in his archives and found their company history of 100+ years very inspirational as a designer. They have a wealth of information in regards to cut, materials and quality. In turn, HSM was very familiar with Steven Alan as a brand and was equally excited to do a partnership. We teamed up with Hart Schaffner Marx, originating from downtown Chicago and known for their expert craftsmanship, to bring a selection of exclusive suiting in traditionally inspired cuts and fine wool fabrics.
Two button sport coat constructed in a wool/cashmere blend lux hopsack. Tailored with bespoke-inspired details and a floating canvas chest piece to maintain structure. Lined sleeves and yoke, notch lapel, two besom flap pockets and single chest pocket.
