Back in 2006, Emily Sugihara was having trouble finding a reusable bag that suited all her needs. This inspired her to create a bag that was functional and affordable without sacrificing design. Along side her mom Joan, Emily launched Baggu in 2007 with a mission to rid the world of disposable bags.
